Alaskan Crab Legs - Can Cooker style

Alaskan Crab legs flash frozen then thaw them in the fridge overnight. We used our Can Cooker cause the legs were so large. Or use a large pot.

- 1 package of frozen crab legs or fresh
- 1.5-2 cups water
- sea salt or himalayan salt
- melted butter
- minced garlic optional in butter
- lemon optional
Put 1.5 to 2 cups of water in the Can Cooker.
Secure lid and place Can Cooker on medium heat source.
The water has started to boil when steam is released from the vent.
Carefully remove the lid - I like to set it on another large pot. Add the Crab Legs.
Close the lid and latch it. Continue to steam for 8-10 minutes.
Use long tongs to remove the crab legs.
Serve with melted butter and lemon wedges.
A Seafood Boil
You can add ingredients like cobs of Corn, and potatoes, stick of butter, some flavor like curry, optional shrimp or other seafood.
